GENERAL RULES, TERMS AND CONDITIONS ALASKA STUDIOS

Rules, terms and conditions below are considered to be read and agreed upon by customers who received a booking option or booking confirmation.
1. Booking
Alaska Studios reserves the right to cancel or refuse a booking at any time, there will be no financial compensation of any kind if that should occur.
Bookings can be made by phonecall or mail, but a mail confirmation is necessary to confirm your booking.
Prices for a booking are fixed and announced on our website. Price updates are possible, but only up to one month before your booking.
New customers will pay the full amount of a booking in advance, once a payment is received the booking is considered confirmed. All extras (drinks/catering/damage/ gear rentals) will be invoiced afterwards.
A studio booking is a full day (9am to 10pm) or a half day (9am to 3pm or 4pm to 10pm). Extra hours will be invoiced.
All of our studios have a specific gear list which can be found on our website.If any gear in the studio is missing, it will be invoiced at current price rate.
Rehearsals: . Our audio engineer will help you soundcheck and setup for a maximum time of half an hour . Any extra time will be invoiced at a rate of 50 euro EX VAT.
We have some backline items available, this is a courtesy of KICK BACKLINE and ALASKA STUDIOS. Only a mail confirmation can reserve a specific item of our backline and any damage will be invoiced. Please handle our backline with care and put it back in the same spot and state you have found it.
No storage, long or short term, of any gear is included in this booking. Storage is possible, please ask ALASKA STUDIOS for a quote.
2. CANCELLATION
If a customer cancels a booking, a general cancellation fee of 50 euro ex VAT will always be invoiced.
If a customer cancels a booking within 14 days of the booked date, 25% of the paid amount for the booking will be invoiced or withheld if the customer has paid in advance.
If a customer cancels a booking within 7 days of the booked date, 50% of the paid amount for the booking will be invoiced or withheld if the customer has paid in advance.
If a customer cancels a booking within 48 hours of the booked date, 100% of the paid amount for the booking will be invoiced or withheld if the customer has paid in advance.
3. MIXROOMS/RECORDING/ EDITING
Customer agrees to respect the hours agreed upon in the booking confirmation.
Customers agree to leave their studio tidy and organized when they leave.
Customers agree to shut down all of the lights and the airco unit in their mixroom.
Customers agree that any damage to the infrastructure or gear in the mixrooms will be invoiced to them at current cost price
Customers will make sure to close all mixroom doors, loading dock gate, front door and the outside balcony door upon leaving. If a break-in and theft occur because the customer did not close the doors, the customer will be held responsible for the full amount of the theft and any damages.
Customers agree to leave the building on time according to their booked time confirmation on the mail.
Customers can always lock the door to their studio by entering their entry code on the codepanel next to their studio door and are supposed to do so if the gear in the studio is left unattended during daytime (9am-10pm). Alaska Studios will not be held liable if a theft should occur by failing to do above.
For customers that have rented a mixroom or rehearsal studio, it is strictly forbidden to enter the offices on the first floor.
Rehearsal room: Customers agree to leave their studio tidy and organized when they leave. All cables, stands, microphones, laptop stands, and power supplies must be returned to the drawers under the mixing desk or the stand cart. Any damage or items missing will be invoiced at current price
Please do not put any flight cases against the wooden or white walls in the studios. Any damage will be invoiced at cost price or repair cost/hour.
Customers agree to keep both of the studio doors always shut when playing music. ALASKA STUDIOS can always demand the customer to turn down the volume of any speakers or amps in the studio at any time.
ALASKA STUDIOS will not be held liable if a recording or rehearsal is interrupted by noise or external conditions.
We love ANIMALS, but they are NOT allowed in our building.
NO TAPE is allowed on the floors or walls, this leaves stains, a cleaning cost of 100 euro will be invoiced if tape is used.
SMOKING is NOT allowed inside, only on the outdoor balcony or outside by the front door or loading dock door. Please throw your cigarette butts in the ashtrays and make sure they are not burning anymore.
Customer agrees to leave all common areas (lounge, hallway, toilets, shower) tidy and organised. If this is not the case, a cleaning fee of €50 per started hour will be charged.
Alaska studios will not be held liable for any accidents or theft that should occur on our parking lot.
The net in our lounge is for 8 people to lay in. No jumping is allowed and ALASKA STUDIOS will not be held liable for any accidents that might occur when using the net.
The entry code for a booking or a keyfob or badge is strictly personal and can not be shared with others. If a break-in and theft occurs because the customer shared the entry code or his badge or keyfob, the customer will be held responsible for the full amount of the theft and any damages.
No subrental of any of our studios is possible.
Customers agree to be silent when leaving the building and make sure not to disturb the neighbours.
If you use our loading dock gate or any of the other gates, please make sure they are fully closed when leaving.
No parties or public events are allowed at ALASKA STUDIOS.
Customers are aware that all movement is filmed and images are stored on our servers. This footage will never be published online or shared with anyone, this footage will only be used in case of theft, damage or security reasons.
